How can #generalists ever get a job in the realworld? Like an employment job. I think they have to be kinda free, to fully use their powers, since the industry is not capable to use them effectively. 🫠

One thing that has been great about academic twitter is the way a critical mass of connections enables a handy and fun way to query the literature.

(Yes, sometimes people say "I can't believe you haven't heard of X!", but that's okay in small doses.)

On a related note, hopefully the #generalists & #analogy enthusiasts find each other! We must build the 'functors' and 'natural transformations' between disciplines. 🤓
