#GenerationalChange – the usual suspects are creating and cashing in on hype around how [insert newest generations here] don't listen, they don't want to work, etc.

While it's true younger folks need more reinforcement, it's also true they're facing a world with rising wealth inequality, natural disasters due to climate change, and political sideshows instead of foundational investments in community, safety, and well-being, while many of them are organizing and creating shared power.

got to chat with one of my students yesterday. We were talking about changes, and the past, and I mentioned 'pre 2008'. He said, 'I was old enough to know that bad things were happening' in 2008 'but that's a lot longer ago for me than it is for you' (he was born in 2003).

'Yeah', I said. 'You experienced it down to the bone, like little kids do'.

'I think so. For me, that was the background. Before that is history'.
