The vegan community is responsible for watering down veganism to a plant food diet. As chairperson of a vegan Society I emphasize reclaiming veganism as a way of living which does not exploit animals (not just food). @Weltraumhirsch @Nerdperle Sorry to butt in, but #UrbanFantasy is my favorite.🤓Sounds like you want some older UrbanFantasy (before everyone jumped on the bandwagon) and to avoid ParanormalRomance (new couple each book). The Patricia Briggs #MercyThompson series is great with a little romance but very slow burn. Richard Kadrey's #SandmanSlim is darker but good. ML Brennan's #GenerationV has minimal romance and a slacker hero.
