I was mostly curious to know whether #somatics was used in your #CommunityOrganizing practice for creating a safe, affirming container and for grounding when tackling subjects that might cause dysregulation

Left-leaning media, while pointing out traumatic incidents that help spark change, have been really bad at helping people process that trauma. I think if people had more access to tools like those taught by Generative Somatics (https://soundcloud.com/generativesomatics), or transformative justice, or non-extractive spiritual practices, or even good therapy, they'd be able to engage with others' (and their own) trauma and grow from the experience instead of shutting down. #generativesomatics #transformativejustice
