Sometimes, just when you think you’ve reached a dead end, things start to come together. Last night, I was researching “Pauline” Glembocki (c. 1891-1964) who primarily lived in #HudsonCounty #nj after immigrating at the age of 14. I wasn’t finding too much until I accidentally stumbled across her husband’s naturalization papers. Turns out her given name is really “Apolonia” and that there are multiple spellings of her marriage surname which I have as “Luscz.” #genealogy #Geniog

Tonight’s project was Józefa Czarnecka Skonieczna (Mar 1875-1942), a first cousin 2X removed. She was born in #Ciechanów, the 6th of 13 children of Feliks Czarnecki and Ludwika Grudzińska. In Nov 1891, she married Stanisław Skonieczny. They had 2 girls and 1 boy that I know of. Shortly after the marriage, they moved to #Warsaw. She died in 1942, in #Wawrzyszew, 18 mi/29 km west of Warsaw. She was buried from St. Mary Magdalene parish. #Genealogy #Geniog #Ancestry

I was lucky to get access to the Asylum records, and was given permission to take a photo of his admission picture on the records.

I was a difficult read as the staff noted his demeaner each day.
