Since I’m already using #haikuos and Linux, are there any other alternative OSes which are viable to run on a laptop? Is anyone using #genode or #qubes ? What else is there? I’m not asking about mainstream e.g. #bsd

@ArneBab, ah, shoot, USB working is kindaa must. But it seems like it does look like progress and hopefully the drivers will be fixed in the next few years.

BTW, thoughts on #Genode and other alternatives?

@ariadne Never head of VxWorks either. What I have heard of though are #Genode & #seL4.

Unlike those two, VxWorks isn't confident-enough to have their code available for inspection, that's not a good sign.
