A little late, but I had to share one of my favorite bands who were blurring the lines between punk and country before it was cool. Alt Country, Americana- whatever you call it, they helped create it, and I was fortunate to have had a front row seat.

I enjoy hearing new music so I join #JukeboxFridayNight some time after 5pm NZST. We share music videos on a suggested theme, naming artist and track so blind and low vision people know what's on the screen. Last week this was #GenreBender.

Technically it's still Friday night, so here's another track I was thinking of. Grunge is not a genre most folk would associate with Moby, but this cover of Missions of Burma's "That's When I Reach For My Revolver" is probably my favourite thing he's recorded. Starts off pretty gently, then about a minute in he really starts going for it. Would pay good money to see that live (v envious of the top commenter on the video!)
