out of curiosity, which distros do you run?
I personally just run gentoo and either write my own rebuilds, or utilize an arch docker container for software not in the portage overlays.

Like because that's the way to get the last atom of speed out of your machine and tweek it 10000000%. The ONLY right way so to say.
Now days it seems that you do the same stating you are using #archlinux ...
