"Bharat" is already India's name in most local languages, including Hindi, and is mentioned as a synonym of "India" in the English version of the country's constitution, but hasn't been used in formal international contexts until now.

The great Otis Redding was born on this day September 9, 1941. In 1967, he performed with many other acts in a momentous music festival that would shape future music festivals. It was stated by many, that his amazing performance at the festival had the loudest crowd reaction by far. Sadly, only a few months later he would die in a plane crash.
