I already knew that outside of his security research #geohot is probably an immature man-child but man is his Twitter ranting getting erratic. He may claim that his position has never changed, but his latest tweets certainly display how silly his opinions are and how impressionable he is. He is already parroting some of #Musk’s talking points about moderation policies and hate speech. It’s pathetic. I wouldn’t be surprised if he suddenly says he does not read books. That would be in line. 😅

@phyn Sorry, there is no such thing as a "permissionless ecosystem". And it was founded on short-sighted assumptions.

I don't say that traditional banking is free of problems and that we should not improve it. But extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence (Carl Sagan). And I do not see that in the alternate ecosystem. Or, as #GeoHot put it: "Crypto is only good for regulatory arbitrage," which is (at least) a double-edged sword.
