GreenPC, the wholly owned subsidiary of NewDeal, Inc (the licensee of #PC/GEOS from #Geoworks), was an attempt by Clive Smith to preach his "Bridge the Digital Divide". GreenPC's CEO was Janice DiPietro who was also the Chief Financial and Operating Officer of NewDeal, Inc. She also created (with Clive Smith) and she chaired the Board of Directors of the New Deal Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to bringing technology to the world’s less fortunate.
