Older proper teams have traditional masks from artisans of this art; newer teams as well as members of older teams may not have access to this luxury, because "mask" mafia (apart from expenses). The artisan may be "canceled" by his permanent clients,old teams, if they learn the master did off-shot masks for some outsiders. This may be one of the explanations for the styling choices with the prehistoric team.
