Just got back from the first Golden Hour Concert at the #Germantown Kitchen Garden!

Rumi Kitchen and the West Philly Orchestra played a lovely show at the farm! There was a great kids’ mosh pit and then the adults really got to dancing once the kids went home!

Excited that there will be two more while it’s still warm this year!

Another catastrophe from Councilperson Cindy Bass.

"Under the terms of a reservation letter, real estate developer KBK Enterprises has until the end of the month to demonstrate it has the necessary funding to restore the city-owned building on Germantown Avenue. If it can’t, and the letter expires, the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority will “reevaluate the next steps for the property,” said spokesperson Jamila Davis.

That could include rescinding its selection of KBK."

"City Councilmember Cindy Bass, whose district includes the YWCA, continues to support the developer, a political backer of hers."

Love having the time off to enjoy this rare sunny and warm day! Visited the #Germantown #DutchMarket with my son. He was about 3 years old when they first opened. A long family tradition to shop for #Pretzels #Flowers #Candy and other goodies. The deli had a timely special on #WatergateSalad 🤣 if you’ve never been to the LancasterDutchMarket, it’s well worth the drive. Saturdays are super busy, I recommend going on a Thurs or Fri morning.
