We need a counter-gerrymandering campaign in America.

Every census, the republicans stack the deck in their favor. That gives us the perfect opportunity to move into whatever neighborhoods we need to in order to throw the votes the other way.

All it would take is the same level of coordination *they* use to calculate the gerrymander in the first place. That, and people willing to relocate or at least establish residency in the right areas.

One hack so far at least it to register for a postal vote and keep checking that requirement is in place and that you are on the electoral register regularly.

You can hand in completed and sealed postal votes at your polling station as long as it's within the correct constituency for the election. Postal votes are collected multiple times on polling day to be counted, or you can post it back in good time.

Local authorities can issue free voting ID's but clearly you need to know this is possible. The next lowest cost would be a provisional driving licence for £34 if you don't already have a licence.
