The #PrimaryFromTheCenter voting strategy involves ALL people in #gerrymandered districts and deep red/blue states voting in the primary of the dominant party.

#RankedVoting can achieve similar neutering of extremists, but it requires state legislatures to enact it, which will *never* happen in #DarkMAGA states that are *eroding* #VotingRights , not advancing them.

@wjmaggos @rbreich Don’t forget that most districts are #gerrymandered, though. Awarding presidential #electors based on gerrymandered districts would increase the motivation for and consequences of #gerrymandering. Better to allocate electors proportionately at the state level, if all states do it. (If only blue states do that, Dems would never win a POTUS election.)
