Ce matin, j'ai vu #LeProcèsDeVivianeAmsalem #Gett de #RonitElkabetz. C'est un film puissant et beau. Je ne l'avais pas vu à sa sortie. Dans les festivals, on a un bon capital de disponibilté perso. Alors, on voit les films plutôt mieux que d'autres fois.

After all that I watched Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem (2014) which was completely riveting throughout. I wish I could quote the Wikipedia entry about it, but whoever wrote that trash completely biffed it. Basically it's about an Israeli rabbinical divorce that drags on for five years plus because the husband refuses to give his estranged, incompatible wife a divorce. He uses it to torment her, punish her, and finally force her to agree to never sleep with another man as a condition of the divorce. The rabbis adjudicating the divorce are useless and the system is completely biased toward the husband, but this final condition is agreed to in private. You can see the anguish on her face, and the impassivity of all the men toward her plight even as she is tortured by this unforgiving, uncaring man and the religious system that puts his rights at its center, but never hers.

I give the same tips. I’m polite and kind…Actually I know why Uber drivers don’t like fat or disabled people-there’s whole Reddit pages about it. There’s one Uber driver who claims he gives 1 star to all women over a size 16
Probably just saying it to be a big man online but do Uber look into continuous 1 star ratings given by one driver? Why the hatred?
