#Wine is California #Gewürztraminer from Mendocino County’s coastal region by Fetzer winery. Fragrant grapes from cooler regions, including Monterey County, were pressed as whole berries, and blended with those from Mendocino. Flavors of honeyed apricot & peach. Aroma of rose petals & honeysuckle. Crisp palate, with medium sweetness.

#Raclette #cheese dinner with boiled potatoes, cornichons, prosciutto, and poached pears. The cheese was melted on a tabletop stove, and poured over the potatoes.

Le #munster avec le pain au cumin, c’est bien. Avec le Irina Georgescu’s cake, c’est bien mieux.
Pour accompagner, #Gewürztraminer Cormier 2016 et #oolong de #Taiwan.
Et aussi, une salade de mâche, une d’endives (moutarde Fallot au pain d’épices) et une de chou rouge (émincé très finement au nakiri) « cuit » et conservé dans du vinaigre de riz #jardinvivrier.

My wine-dumb description — Its a white wine(?). It’s actually sweet, but neither sugary nor syrupy. It’s complex, but not funky or sour. It’s not the least bit harsh (i.e., you could chug it, though please don’t).
