I've done a simple script on a local #Linux box and its very simple to do there assuing you have the psutils and ps2eps scripts installed along with ghostscript obviously.

Linux-User sollten mit dem Distro-Paketmanager auf die neueste Version von Ghostscript, 10.01.2 aktualisieren oder aus dem Quellcode kompilieren.
Der Patch für Windows dauert zumeist länger. Also: VORSICHT!

gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibilityLevel=1.4 -dDownsampleColorImages=true -dColorImageResolution=150 -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sOutputFile=output.pdf input.pdf
