Every year on #Geograph the "hamsters" (think like a unix daemon) that live in the servers create a slide show of our contributions for the #year. I am always delighted with the results.
This is 2022 for me:

It allows me to discover that this is the year when I took #photographs of two different #GiantRedwood #trees
I will screengrab the top of the list, to enliven this post.

#WeeTrunkWednesday ... i say thinking i may start a tree today, to grow to be worthy of #ThickTrunkTuesday some day.
perhaps a #giantredwood or just a #GrandFir
... wont be as fast a return or as much, for #carbondioxide, #oxygen and #pinene, to #clear the #air as #Cannabis, nor make as much #Food, #Fuel, #Fibre, #Medicine, but i'm still too #traumatised and #terrorised by #prohibition to #germinate #hempseed to help the world #Overgrow the government.
we like a good trunk story on mastodon.

I have a fascination with trees, and have been collecting images of their anatomy. This one is a giant redwood in a country churchyard:. Most of the trees I photograph include a view straight up. Mostly I call these "always look up"
