They could have found the castaway's bones in a cave or something. A slow dirge playing the theme song as it pans over their bones.. "the millionaire, and his wife... The movie star...". Then a fade to black on Gilligan's hat in the sand. It also would have been a pretty wild ending to Gilligan's Island.
I hope that happened in an alternate reality. It would have been so much more satisfying than the actual ending
