It's not a bad likeness, I think. Apart from the fins. I need the fins to keep pointy end up, flamey end down in the absence of vernier rockets and thrust vector control, though.
This is my scratch built 3D printed, flying model rocket semi-scale replica of the Gilmour Space Eris, with camera and altimeter.
Mechanically it is the most complicated thing I've made so far. 12 3D printed parts plus the electronics, parachute and shock cord. The electronics are pulled out of my previous rockets. I did put an extra slot in the avionics tray though, so I'd have space to add an inertial measurement unit later.

Australiaโs first rocket is set to launch into space in April 2023
The Eris rocket developed by Australian company Gilmour Space will be the first Australian system to go into orbit if it successfully launches next year.
