On this day in 2016, Gene Wilder died. Since then, I've done a little yearly memorial movie watch that I've dubbed Gin Radlers with Gene Wilder.

Basically I drink beer radlers with a shot of gin in them and tuck in with some Gene Wilder films.

Highly recommend.

(Also if you've never read Gene's autobiography, Kiss Me Like A Stranger, it is worth checking out)

Here’s a nice option for a #LowAlcohol #Gin and tonic from Adnams.

It’s bottled at 50% ABV (so it’s still legally gin), but the botanicals are so concentrated you only need 2.5ml to mix with 200ml of tonic.

Decent citrus and floral flavour. Not much juniper. I only used 150ml tonic, tbh with 200 it might get a bit lost. I like my G&Ts strong so YMMV.

You miss the boozy depth, but if you’re abstaining or just moderating then it’s close enough. It’s always good to have options.

I got some gin as a birthday present that I’ve only just got round to opening and it is incredible.
