In januari 1963 zal #TheWembleyHammer zoals Jagger hem zal noemen zich aansluiten bij #TheRollingStones.
Hij bleef evenwel werken als grafisch ontwerper, en zal ook de platenhoezen van The Stones ontwerpen en zal ook de kracht

De man die al eens #RocksFirstSuperstarDrummer wordt genoemd, Ginger voor de vrienden.
Ginger begint pas te drummen op zijn 15de, maar krijgt meteen les van één van de beste drummers in de UK, #PhilSesamen.
In 1962 voegt hij zich bij de eerste elektrische bluesband in de UK, #AlexisKornersBluesIncorporated, waar hij #CharlieWatts vervangt.
Daar ontmoet hij bassist #JackBruce, ze maken meer ruzie dan hen

In hetzelfde jaar vormt hij met #EricClapton en #GingerBaker die hij kende van Blues Incorporated het powertrio en legendarische band #Cream.
En schrijft bijna alle nummers, met dichter #PeteBrown, van de band die maar 2 jaar bestaat van 1966 tot 1968, maar wel een diepe indruk achterlaat in de rock geschiedenis.
Na de split schrijft hij direct een soloalbum, en in 1972 richt hij een nieuw trio op: #WestBruceAndLaing die in drie jaar drie albums uitbrachten.
