I'm here for (among many other things) #history and #geospatial stuff, especially where they collide in #gistory. I've worked in this field for the #britishlibrary (software development and data-modelling) and #LayersOfLondon (#GIS consultancy), alongside a career as an opera and concert singer.

My PhD examined legal and political contexts of river navigation in 17th-century England, and sparked my interest in historical transport networks and economic development more generally.
