Is there a plugin for #Gitea to connect it to the #Fediverse ?
Or a Git repository server (self hostable) connected to the Fediverse ?

Spent the morning using @godotengine to work on the next version of the Time Sampling Form software. Using Kanban boards in #Gitea has helped to bring some simple structure to this project. I hadn't realised how easy it is to translate a project with a CSV. The next version will be available in English and in Dutch, which is a great timesaver.

Now I need to find a fix for a broken plugin that allows the HTML5 version to download a screenshot as PNG.

forges such as #github, #gitea, and #forgejo should remove stars since the concept of stars is the same as the concept of likes in social media. it will create a false sense of trust and legitimacy to that project. if you really like a project, you can just bookmark it from your browser or take note of it.

This is interesting - age can #encrypt a file to an #SSH key. Thus, it can be used to easily encrypt a file to a #Github user.

This is possible because a user's public SSH keys are visible at `github.com/username.keys`. I've tested this with #Gitea, and it seems it also makes public SSH keys visible by default.

Succeeded in creating my first Gitea Actions workflow with building a multiplatform Docker image and pushing it to my container registry with buildx. Unfortunately have been unsuccessful with getting secrets to work so far ${{ secrets.DOCKER_PASSWORD }} doesn’t work #gitea #ci
