What annoys me the most are big enterprises refusing to maintain their shit [#MicrosoftTeams & #Zoom still don't work on #Wayland!] or even update stuff properly [#Discord still doesn't have a #deb / #rpm repo.

And unlike some #FLOSS that has no income except maybe some #Patreon or #GithubSponsors, these are highly profitable #CCSS and thus have 0 excuse to not do this crap!

If you're one of my sponsors on github, you should have gotten an 'Update' by email from me about #Genuary. I haven't yet found an easier way to do this, but I've sent a 'draft link' to an unlisted post on Medium, where I'll update each piece I created from each day's prompt.

A lot of the descriptions and images are still rough, so I'm only sharing them with my supporters. For now, at least.

@rauschma there is a fundamental issue on how you would handle #githubsponsors in the EU from a tax perspective. They do not act as merchant of records but they don’t give enough data to emit proper invoices. It’s a mess pushed down to developers.

You’d need to sort it out with your tax accountant.

Since donations are illegal in my country, I cannot have a #Patreon or #GitHubSponsors. So I've spent time and effort integrating #Gumroad payments and #EthicalAds for my service, neither of which I would have had to do if the law wasn't so stupid.

Now it feels ready, but I'm scared to deploy it, because it deals with people's money and I'm afraid of making mistakes there. Annoying.
