The other way around would work too.
I basically want redundancy (eventually I’d like to have my own #GitLab instance).

But I don’t want to leave #GitHub, it has a big and active community and lots of nice tools.
It’s just in case Microsoft decides to do anything funny with it in the future.

What do you do when you've made a #git merge request, someone else has approved it, but you find an issue and need to push a change? Pushing new commits to the branch doesn't un-approve the MR. What conventions do people have for the contributor to say "I want this code reviewed" and for the reviewer to say "I have reviewed the change and maintain my approval"?

In fact, why don't MRs get automatically un-approved when changes are pushed?

So somehow the rails secret (managed by external-secrets) had a syntax error causing gitlab to throw an unsearchable error.

I ended up following the stack trace and crawling around in the containers to find the error.

A good question would be: how the heck did it work with this config before? We will never know, I absolutely am not going to do any forensics to find out.
