My solar panel and battery storage was commissioned on Tuesday. So, yesterday I set up Home Assistant to monitor it.

That means I can now use Robo McRoboFace to indicate how much power I'm generating. Currently he is red because it's between 100-500w :-(

Might have to work on some animations for his face.

Almost made it, just 350w of solar generation today. 1 hour 40mins to go until cheap rate. Has been a big usage day today however. House load increased to 600-800w rather than the normal 200-300. Better planning in future required. #givenergy #battery #outofpower
