The saddest thing, for me, about David Seymour using violent rhetoric targeting our Māori and Pacific tāngata to attract votes in Aotearoa NZ, the land that was settled peacefully - John Key - Nov 2014, is that it wil probably be effective in attracting voters who will deny their racism by suggesting people can't take a joke and further normalising the racism that Taika Waititi received a huge backlash from the right for daring to point out. #GiveNothingToRacism #NZPol

Was just talking with a non Pākehā Nat voting friend who told me Nat's targeting of Māori for votes is inexcusable.
I asked, "So who will you be supporting now?"
I'll still vote National, I just want a tax cut.
So racism is excusable?
Well as long as you stand to personally benefit it seems.
The response was a shrug, the conversation kinda ended.
