Got an invite for a CIO event from a past reputable org. Clicked on the prominent button to register via LinkedIn and got this fascinating permissions notice. I'd like to believe my fellow CIO/CTO/CISOs would seriously pause before giving a conference service product full access to your LinkedIn address book and the ability to "post on your behalf" but the cynic in me is guessing that many who should know better clicked “Allow”
