I love seeing the seasons changing in nature, so finding my Halloween pumpkins thriving today has made me very happy. Need to treat the leaves for the dreaded mildew but thankfully the pumpkins are not affected.

We started ‘proper’ veg growing this year. Made six raised beds, and the results have been incredible. There’s still produce left to harvest. Spuds, carrots, leeks, beetroot, parsnips, beans for drying and lots of greens. If we can make this happen in Ireland’s North West, anyone can! #GIY
