Zooming in on the image I posted earlier, there's some fascinating #Glaciology on display. In the image I've circled a looped moraine (in red) and terminal moraines in a piedmont form in blue. Bedforms in black

These features suggest to me #SurgingGlacier behaviour at some point (hards to say if still active as #GlacierSurges can occur decades if not centuries apart).
