G - Ever so grateful for the acupuncture that is finally nailing the TMJ to the wall with its teeny tiny needles.
L - Learned that people think I know what I'm talking about, which I find hiLARious.
A - It's late winter during these hellish times, that I'm awake and not sobbing under my desk is an accomplishment.
D - I can hear Tom in the other room planning a very much needed vacation for the two of us and my delight overfloweth.

G - Grateful I was able to take a day off after the last week and month.
L - Learned once again that human lives are worth less than guns.
A - I read two books today. I’ve missed reading.
D - The only delight was that the sun was out all day.

G - Grateful the week is almost over; it's been a long one.
L - Learned that sometimes group projects don't suck and can be fun if you're all laughing at the absurdity of it.
A - Accomplished today? I'm vertical and didn't swear at anyone...out loud.
D - Delighted to discover that the long range forecast for CA next week involves sun and temps I haven't seen in months. So you can be damned sure I'll be outside when not working.

G - Grateful for my husband.
L - Learned/laughed that a student apartment Andy is considering was built on the site of The Pit I lived in in college.
A - I got through the day. Gimme a puppy.
D - The sun was out most of the day. Delight, indeed.

L - Learned that while I should do this gratitude practice every night, the world won’t end if I don’t.
A - Made it through another day.
D - Delighted to tears that I’ve made a difference in others’ lives.

G - Grateful for never ending winter, because it makes me love summer THAT MUCH MORE.
L - Learned that IT'S STILL WINTER.
A - Today's accomplishment was converting oxygen into whatever.
D - I've seen zero percent of any of the Oscar movies but I loved Jamie Lee Curtis's and Ke Huy Quan's acceptance speeches.

G - Once again, so grateful for a kind and supportive work environment.
L - Learned that Murphy and his little Law are in robust health and making house calls.
A - That I accomplished anything today is a miracle. In hard pants, no less.
D - Last fall I hit the wall and hired a cleaning crew to come in every other week. Today was cleaning day and my god my delight is off the charts.

G - Grateful we’re halfway through the week.
L - Training a new colleague today, learned I’m still a teacher.
A - Closed my rings. Baby steps to more physical activity.
D - DELIGHTED my new trackpad finally got here; I was going batshit crazy using a mouse.

L - I learn so much FaceTiming with the boys. They’re such awesome people.
A - I wore hard pants today.
D - The pussy willow is starting to bud. Spring is slowly awakening.

G - Grateful I could replace my wireless trackpad when it decided that today was the best time to go belly up. A need? Yes. I went a couple hours with a scavenged mouse and my productivity went backwards.
L - Learned that it’s time to reread the Hitchhiker’s series and “Lamb.”
A - Made salmon cakes for dinner and yes, delicious.
D - At the stage of winter that memes are getting me through. Delight takes all forms.

G - Words can’t express my sheer gratitude over last night’s solid 9 hours of sleep.
L - Learned once again that sleep + sunny day = good mood.
A - Played a concert. All I wanted and needed to accomplish today.
D - Delighted and thrilled I got the alto flute to sing that last line in the Giroux. I have no reason to own my own alto but damned if I wouldn’t love to have one.

G - It was sunny and dry while volunteering with the dog rescue this morning.
L - Learning how to keep an amaryllis for blooming next winter.
A - We survived a Saturday Costco run.
D - Thrilled that my exciting Saturday night plan is to go to bed early.

G - Words cannot express how grateful I am that acupuncture is treating my TMJ.
L - Learned the milk had gone off BEFORE making hot chocolate. Sadly, this was 12 hours AFTER I'd put it in my coffee.
A - The relief of finally knocking off those irritating tasks that were waiting for others before I could finish just cannot be overstated.
D - Looks like the big snow will miss us and MY DELIGHT IS IMMENSE.

G - I have amazing coworkers. Thank god.
L - Learned I can write very polite corporate WTAF emails.
A - Today's accomplishment is that I married well, 26+ years ago.
D - The weather today delighted me beyond words. That I was too swamped to take advantage of it is the exact OPPOSITE of delight.

G - Grateful for great friends, distance be damned.
L - Watched two geese make a third goose and damn. Wild Kingdom After Dark behind the house this morning.
A - Accomplished many things, none of which involved actually moving, so let's call it halfsies, eh?
D - Delighted to go into the week with a relaxed weekend under my belt.

G - Can’t begin to say how grateful I am that I have generous PTO and can dash off when my parents need me.
L - Learned my air fryer has been recalled and this weekend I get to jump through the hoops for a replacement.
A - Made it through the week.
D - The last full week of February 2023 is behind us!

L - I’m better at Spanish past tense than present. 🤷‍♀️
A - Earned my “polite work email reply while screaming into the void” badge today.
D - Delighted that there was leftover margarita from yesterday’s National Margarita Day drinks.

G - It was a "day off," but I had so much that needed done that I slept in a bit and worked anyway. Grateful that there were no meetings because it was makeup and supportive undergarments optional.
L - Spanish past-tense is coming back to me.
A - Spun the wheel of WHAT WILL GET DONE AFTER WORK and it was flute practice and writing the editor's message of a newsletter.
D - Delighted by the rare February sunshine we've been getting of late.

G - As I'm deep into "survive February," grateful for the last couple days of bright sunshine.
L - Learned that our library is joining a regional library consortium and I'll have access to more books. Be still my nerdy heart.
A - Got enough knocked off my lists today that the week will have a harder time drowning me.
D - Our field trip today involved replacing the broken coffeepot (thank god) and eating at Bibibop, which is entirely gluten free and I may have shed a small tear.

G - I made it through the day on 5 hours of sleep. Not intentional.
L - Learned the cat has us trained. Yells at us starting at 8:30 to go to bed, and once snuggled under the covers jumps up, demands scritches, and curls up to sleep.
A - Bought a physical mute toggle button and got it set up to my computer. Thrilled because now I can mute/unmute during meetings and not go searching for the meeting window and tiny mic button.
D - It was chilly but I was out without a coat this morning.
