Turns out that it's the 150th anniversary of the first ever international #football match, which was played there.

The cart entrance to the old Crown Mill on Washington Street in the Anderston Area of Glasgow. This Italianate building was constructed in 1862, but all that is now left is the boarded up ground floor. However, you can still see traces of the compaby's name as a gost sign above the door.

The Burrell Collection in Glasgow's Pollok Park. It reopened in March 2022 after a six-year refurbishment and the end result is amazing. The Forth and Clyde Canal in the north of Glasgow. Designed by John Smeaton and constructed between 1768 and 1790, it allowed goods and ships to move from the North Sea to the North Atlantic without having the pass through the treacherous waters along the North of Scotland. It was the world's first man-made sea-to-sea canal, making it the forerunner of canals like the Suez Canal and the Panama Canal.

Crow-stepped gables, fleche and cupola of Pollokshaws Burgh Hall on the southside of Glasgow. Designed by Robert Rowand Anderson in the Scots Renaissance style and constructed in the 1890s, it reproduces details from now-lost Old College buildings on High Street.
