Hello!

I do music stuff on and off. I sometimes do stage tech stuff for the glitz, the glamour, the backache and tinnitus. I like retro computing, gigs, beer, comedy. Travel and languages are an aspiration rather than a reality. I occasionally run. Been in IT infrastructure for over 20 years. Almost getting good at it now.

Les Live de #BadGuy par #BillieEilish dans les festivals de 2019 se ressemblent tous un peu, forcément, mais c’est quand même celui de #Glastonbury que je préfère. Je repasse souvent cette chanson, avant sur twix, maintenant ici. Je trouve qu’elle a qq chose de magique, plein de joie et d’énérige pure. C’est un tube mérité. Bien sûr, ça tient à rien, un gimmick qui vient plus ou moins d’un jeu vidéo, je crois (j’ai su. je ne sais plus bien). Ça opère mystérieusement.

Just finishing #Glastonbury catch up (for now) and it looks like Radio 2 went live to Elton John at 845 but fairly sure he didn't come on stage until 9. 8pm news at start of previous show. Am I missing something obvious?

I'm watching Royal Blood at #Glastonbury on BBC iPlayer. Fantastic, they always perform well and entertain. Such a full sound from only a bass guitar and drums!

Stellt sich noch die Frage, warum so ein Festival wie #Glastonbury, das #BBC per Video- und Audio-Streams und in den Radioprogrammen ausführlich begleitet, bei uns im Radio so gar nicht vorkommt. @NDR #ÖRR #ARD sehr traurig.

I see all these messages in the UK Fedi about how bad the Tories are (there is no doubt in my mind that they are) and I can't help but think back about the night of the Brexit referendum, when there were enough people at Glastonbury to prevent Brexit from ever happening. Instead people were singing along with Coldplay. It's not that I blame them. It just makes me feel sad.
