This was me trying to find new and interesting things to photograph. It was in pretty harsh sunlight and with slight tweaks I think I got it where it was noticeable but not overbearing. @big_head_ceramics on instagram made this.

Glazing disaster today 😩. Tried using this dent repair puller tool a friend brought into the studio to dip the rim of my bowl in glaze. It stuck on the bottom like glue until it didn't & then CRASH onto the floor went my bowl. Good lesson in learning to let go!

Today I received a at work and as I'd forgotten all about it I was delighted and intrigued. Anyway, out of the big cardboard box came a much shinier box from a company called TruVue and they make .

These promotional kits were handed out at a recent conference in Edinburgh but as I attended remotely I couldn't pick one up (hence the surprise post).

Only and people can get all excited about and pieces, I swear. 🪟

Been glazing the new pieces for the last three hours. I don't fancy glazing, it's messy and I can't be sure of how the pieces will turn out.
