Not the finest weather today for Munro bagging, but no. 56 and 57 today for me, Meall a'Bhuiridh and Creise from Glencoe Ski Centre. Clag cleared up at the bealach between the two hills but stayed hidden at the summits.

Today we looped the loop of our bike tour with #Glencoe to #FortWilliam by the #WestHighlandWay and military road , which we joined from #Kinlochleven. There it's a quite steep path for 2km, on which we pushed more than pedalled - hikers were looking at us with a pitying or even worried look.
But once the 200m+ are done, great wideish track, rocky and watery, in an amazing #firstDayOfTheWorld landscape! By then hikers's looks turned rather envious ;)

Today was often wet, which was fine as we were staying in the same accommodation as yesterday. And above #Strontian, there's a good place for some easy #mountainBiking, with a rocky path, a #singleTrack one and great views.
Tomorrow due to be dryer, we'll be off to #Glencoe by the road and #ferry - which accepts only #foot passengers and #cyclists at present!

Emergency crews and rescue teams were called to the Aonach Eagach ridge in Glencoe shortly after 9pm on Saturday night.
The Aonach Eagach ridge has gained a reputation as the narrowest on mainland Britain.

Cool weather returns - but we had to travel.
Back up in the Highlands and it is a lot cooler for a morning run. Unfortunately it has coincided with a surge in work, so the days will be a lot longer.... Luckily the daylight agrees.
The mogs have settled back in of course - an occasional amble out to inspect the local rodent life with the occasional visit to an elerly neighbout who is ghappy to feed them.
