@veikus welcome! We actually have a pretty active #glider club right down the street from home. I've never had time to check them out, but one of my coworkers went up with them a couple of times and had a blast.

Always enjoy seeing them up most weekends when I go by. They're right on the way to both the feed store and our biggest pasture. 😆

One of the things I love about my neighborhood is that it's close to a small #airport, so I can hear planes taking off and landing. It reminds me of my dad, who built and flew his own sailplane. #glider

Write-upfrom 2011 on the Aeronca 100, a plane that was in our garage for all of my childhood. It was my dad’s dream to restore the plan, but a lack of money precluded any chance of that. Great that it could finally be restored to flying condition
