OK, after a pretty productive Sunday afternoon, I think I have this DIY postcard thing figured out.

In the Before Time, at my old #CopyJob, I made some #GlitchBooks with shunga images, ie. old-timey japanese woodcut porn. These were then gifted to various friends over the years.

A few days ago, a friend who got one of those asked if I can make them a new one.

Ok, so, my current plan is to offer, besides leftover stock, sticker packs. These would come in two sorts:

- Small, Square (4 cm x 4 cm)
- Larger, Rectangular (roughly 10cm x 7cm)

The idea here is that I don't actually want to deal with prizing and stocking individual stickers or motives, because that's a pain. (Especially considering my "throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks" artistic method.)

Rather, I'd be selling packs of 20 (for the small ones) or 8 (for the larger ones) for some nice and round lump sum, like 12€ or 15€ or something like that.

For every sticker pack there would be example pictures provided, but the precise stickers and motives you'd get are somewhat variable, depending on what the glitchcode spat out most recently and my evershifting whims.

(I'd probably be offering comissions for those cases where you want more input/have specific wishes what stickers you get.)

This is all part of a bigger project I call "Get of my ass and actually do something with all that glitch stuff", so you can expect some more changes, like finally opening up that Ko-Fi shop, allowing people who, for weird reasons, like my stuff and wanna give me money for it to do so.

There will be old stuff (#GlitchBooks left over from #CopyJob) as well as new stuff, like those nifty mini-sticker packs.

Test printed some #GlitchArt sticker at home and, while not as good as from a professional printer, they are still pretty good.

Figured it might be time again for an #introduction post.

Since my home printer does terribly badwrong things to color images, I'm experimenting with monochrome stickers that I hand-colorize using watercolours and then laminate

Ignoring the botched lamination, I don't hate the first test results.

Browsing my #glitchart / #glitchbooks folders, looking for pics that would be cool on stickers. It's wild, there are loads of pics and half-baked projects I just ... forgot about.

That said, after a first one-sheet test print, it seems like my math works out and the roughly assembled prototype looks ok.

Needs some minor tweaks layout tweaks (and accounting for creep... *ugh*) but I think this could work and look nice and be something I can assemble at home. :)
