Got to say, the Games Workshop spirit hosts were a massive pain to assemble.

@mhd read the griselda stories, I started the group in jail after carousing, with hangovers, and fuzzy memories. In return for not pressing charges they could stop the broo raiders....

Turned into a very western style with broos as indigenous displaced, so character sympathies ended up all over the place!

My latest experiences are: #Runequest, #Questworlds (Really Heroquest in #Glorantha), #Gumshoe: Swords of the Serpentine is great and #BelongingOutsideBelonging one shot of This Night on the Rooftops that was electrifying with family.

Does anyone know of any long #ActualPlay campaigns using #RuneQuest or just set in #Glorantha? I just know of the 6 episode one put out by Chaosium, but I’m looking for something longer than that

Ich habe angefangen, Chaosiums "Cults of #Runequest" Reihe zu lesen und es ist schön, dass wie "damals" die großen Fragen zu jeder einzelnen religiösen Gruppierung beantwortet werden:

Was geschieht nach dem Tod?
Warum bin ich hier?
Wie kann ich Magie wirken?
Wer sind die anderen Götter?
Wo herrschen wir?"

Das hat mich immer an #Glorantha fasziniert: Mythologie ist untrennbar mit den SC und der Welt verwoben.

#RPGaDay2023 Day 10: Favourite tie-in fiction.

My attempts at reading some tie-in fiction make me appreciate the ability of talented professional fiction authors. Most of RPG-related fiction is pretty awful. (Sorry).

I think I read most, but not all, the Griselda stories set in #Glorantha ( #Pavis ).

I read most, but not all, of the Expanse novels, and they came out of at Traveller campaign. So I'll claim that.

Over the decades I changed my mind, #KingOfDragonPass was an influence. Anyway, nowadays I like #Fantasy #Ducks! Everybody steals from #Runequest / #Glorantha. Today, #Dragonbane by #FreeLeague! This killer with a beak is badass...
