@protonmail is fun, but that's too much privacy for me - I want to be able to use any email client I want.

#Fastmail has a lot of useful features missing from #gmail as well as email aliases and masked emails.

Oh, and I tried #OnMail as well. But then I realized that EdisonMail (the creator of OnMail) was bought by a data-crawling company =D

I’m going through old email on Gmail. Did you know that Google seemed to save every variation of a Note on my iPhone as a separate email message? All of those passwords I thought were safe from view …

Not sure when I turned sync off, but I’m looking at 2015-17 messages and deleting today.

How Not to App:

On iOS, there is no setting in the Gmail app for whether the default is Reply or Reply All. There is in the web interface and in the Android app, but not the iOS app. So far, bad enough. But:

If you change the setting in the Android app, the iOS app will pick it up. Yes, really. So it's possible to control the default in iOS, just indirectly.

Setting it in the web interface does *not* set it in iOS (or Android). It's completely separate.

Even using Confidential in the #Gmail Android app would probably be better than continuing to frustrate myself with PGP. I do like K-9 Mail, but I really hope PGP handling changes after becoming Thunderbird. I just want my.keys, which I MADE in Thunderbird, to be acknowledged.
