Did you really expect a Hummer to be economical? The #Hummer EV only gets 1.48 miles per kWh. For comparison, the #F150Lightning has a max battery size of 131 kWh gets 2.29mi/kWh. The large-pack variant of #Rivian #R1S Dual Motor, with an 135-kWh battery gets 2.27mi/kWh.Why is Hummer EV so inefficient? Mostly its weight, tipping the scales at 9,063 pounds, 3000 of which are the battery alone.

I WISH #appletv would let me hook up a hard drive. I could then permanently attach a drive with downloaded movies to take in the SUV/VAN and NOT have to deal with the annoying onboard stuff that can't do protected movies and/or just ... doesn't work. #gmc has been a pain on their head units :( That said... #plex looking rather interesting as an option with a raspberry pi maybe..

@davidzipper Maybe ebike manufacturers could follow #GMC truck logic. Ride with no hands while clapping... Human scraping by me here.

@dec_hl yeah, here in Finland we are maybe a little crazy with our saunas. 😁

Here are some photos I found from inside.

The front section of the cockpit was original, but rear section was emptied earlier from all fire equipment. We installed "new" rear-seats from #GMC Jimmy, added more speakers and couple of subwoofers just for #rocknroll 🤘

#sauna wasn't exactly very good shape then. We fixed worst of it, so it could be used quickly. Nowadays it is in better shape, like rest of the truck.

The #HummerEV itself is already heavy, tipping the scales at over 9,000 pounds, with a large part of that weight being its 246 kWh battery, currently the biggest in the business.
Munro & Associates engineers Antonio DiNunno and Julian Aytes note that when dropped from the vehicle, the pack weighed in at 1,278 kg or 2,818 pounds!
