#Mexico shouldn't have to elaborate why they don't treat GM corn the same as traditional corn. This is not like champagne versus sparkling white wine -- much different. It seems the U.S. is motivated by the effect of Mexico banning genetically modified corn more than the policy itself. Because #GMcorn has become such a large part of the U.S. #harvest (90%), it's a #GDP-altering issue. Otherwise it wouldn't be an issue at all.
