First sketch of a logo for a corp I'm gonna use in my Lancer campaign. Name is Aeon Thruster Tech. They manufacture thrusters for space vessels and habitats.
Colors are vague approximations done with the text markers I had on hand (background blue should be much darker and the teal should be much bluer, closer to a color produced by a rocket propellant exhaust flame)

Speaking of time-travel. My biggest disaster as a GM was probably a time-travel run, ages ago. The PCs were historical figures plucked from the timeline. The premise was fun, the PCs were great.

I didn't run into the _usual_ time-travel issues (our rules of travel and causality were excellent for gameplay; no problems) I just did some of my worst #AdventureDesign _ever_ for the opening scenario and was so horrified I canned it. 😮

Canceling was an overreaction, but I was young. #GMing #TTRPG

I edit RPGs and fiction, I'm a most-of-the-time GM, and I've been fiddling with RPG rules since before I was fully grown. I dabble in papercraft (primarily notebooks) and fixing things.

A note on "Being a fan of your players" and "Be the players' guide". A good GM provides context to the world and offers insight when the players might not be acting on the same information their characters would have. This includes pointing out mechanical options they're leaving at the table, making sure they have meaningful information to make informed decisions, and even straight out offering input if they're stuck or obviously are way, way off in left field. #TTRPG #GMing /1

@Glupinickname @viktorTheBoar GMing #PbtA games made me a better referee for #DnD and other TTRPGs.

Instead of there being a freeform #GMing
experience, when you can do things and what you can do are limited by a structured rules-set that will deliver a satisfying experience every time if you follow it.

#DungeonWorld specifically explains GMing in a way that can be seen as "Advice" instead of "rules" but if you read them as rules it's a ton of fun.

I've decided that the next #ttrpg campaign I run will **not** be in an established popular world. Tripping all over someone else's pre-established lore/canon while tryng to create an engaging plotline was just irritating enough for me to never want to do it again. #gming #roleplaying

Don't ever let anyone tell you what a great GM should (or shouldn't) look like. If you and your players are all having a good time - You're doing it right. One size (or GMing style) definitely does not fit all.
