There was actual gaming this weekend! Yesterday, my Cuba Libre game ended in a narrow Syndicate victory (as it often does, because I always forget to stomp on them).

Today, my wife and I finally got our own copy of Wild Blue Yonder by #GMTGames on the table. We learned #DownInFlames at Pacificon last year and enjoyed it enough to buy it. Enjoyed it again today, too.

We followed that with another game of #RaceForTheGalaxy with the Alien Artifacts stuff, and finished things off with a brand new game, the title of which I shall redact because we bought a second copy of it as a gift for a special someone who might read this...great times all around. #HexesForever

I have today off, so you'd think I'd dive right into a game, right? Right?

Nah. Had to recaulk the kitchen sink first.

Meanwhile the other group played Border Reivers by #GMTGames
The game flavour and history is rich based around the English/Scottish border region rivalries of the 16th C. They seemed to like it which is good as I have not played it yet.
I’ll be bringing Border Reivers to Pacificon Game eXpo in Santa Clara next month for the #WargameBootcamp.

People Power - 3 player #COINSeries on the Philippines in the 80’s.

Had a chance to again play TS: Red Sea. Love the process of learning new cards & how they interact with each other. Had a good and tense game with my buddy. Definitely, prefer 3 turns campaign as Scoring Cards are almost sure then. Will explore further!

The result of our second attempt to bring the civilisation to Ireland while it was falling apart everywhere else. We have played easy game without the Dolmen rules. Next time we will try the hard one. Very easy cooperative game with a strong historical storytelling. Superb subject. Banish the Snakes by #GMTGames.

Atten-shun! The British Way #COINSeries #boardgame is a impressive package. Lots of top notch goodies in the box. Four 2-player games that can be combined into a campaign. Brilliant! I got to play the Palestine game at the #WeekendAtTheWarehouse and it was quick to play and focused.

We dubbed the area as Commie Corner when we played Land & Freedom. The day before Prelude to Revolution and Triumph of Chaos v2 had been played in that corner.
Geraldo was new to Land & Freedom yet took an early lead until my Anarchists took hold via Collectivization. The government changed hands many times and the result was a close draw from the Bag of Glory at the game end. Commie Luis won despite that I had more chits in the bag.
