@rysiek there's a #gno.e Social app @brainblasted is working on as well, but iiuc it's still too early for it to be useful.

Overall this is a more general problem though. It's way too hard to make native desktop apps (complex toolkits, buildsystems, packaging, cross-platform compatibility,…)

As terrible as Electron is, it solves these problems better than the native solutions. It's no wonder there are many more apps built with it. 😥
