Das geht garnicht, jedenfalls nicht offiziell.

Es gibt ne Menge Appliances die quasi als Man-in-the-Middle agieren um dies umzusetzen aber IMHO ist das allenfalls Blenderei wenn nicht sogar digitales Schlangenöl.

Es ist einfacher allen Nutzer*innen beizubringen wie #GnuPG / #OpenPGP funktioniert als das zu realisieren...

Two weeks nice family vacation, now slowly back to business. Great start:

- my #PrusaMini had its filament sensor turned off (wtf, can't remember I did that?), continues printing happily without filament...
- #Thunderbird 115 freezes after a couple of seconds on #Manjaro (and I can't downgrade because the new version already messed with my profile in a backwards-incompatible way)...
- the #GnuPG pinentry fix needed for #NixOS breaks gpg everywhere else with my synced dotfiles...

Dostałem maila zaszyfrowanego #PGP od obcej osoby. Mam tu mój klucz, więc go przeczytałem. Póki co, żaden problem.

Teraz chciałbym odpisać. Wysyłam odpowiedź i Evolution narzeka, że klucz nie jest oznaczony jako zaufany (rzecz jasna), więc nie może go wysłać. Wygląda na to, że nie ma żadnego oczywistego sposobu na obejście wymogu zaufania.

Wygląda na to, że oczekuje się ode mnie, że zrobię jedno z następujących:

1. włożę sporo wysiłku po to, żeby zbudować sieć zaufania do obcej osoby po to, żeby odpisać na jednego maila

2. włożę sporo wysiłku, żeby tymczasowo podpisać klucz tej osoby, a potem ten podpis unieważnić

3. wyślę niezaszyfrowaną wiadomość (co będzie zniewagą dla adresata)

Wzdych.

I missed the expiry window for my PGP smartcard sub-keys.... 😫

Not only did I update them this morning, but I also took the time to build the NixOS live environment from DrDuh's guide. So much easier knowing I can keep the USB stick with the offline key. The only thing i added was restic to the build.

- homedir encryption with #eCryptfs
- all software I need
- even managed to package 3 custom things not in nixpkgs (passrofi, my #OpenTimeStamps client fork, bemoji)
