Currently listening to episode 489 of #gnuworldorder. and I’m quite enjoying it.
The ideas that @klaatu throws around are really fun to think and philosophize about.
I personally feel quite conflicted because I’m currently using an iPad quite heavily and I’m really torn between its ease of use and it not having a free OS.
Since it’s basically just a glorified SSH client it might be fine? Haven’t decided yet and depending on the day the other side looks better 😅 #FreeSoftware

I am working on the website. I thought I had RSS fixed, but it still isn't pushing the episodes to your podcatchers.

#Pelican rocks, but it's geared more for blogs. I discovered a podcast feed generator plugin for it, but my first attempt isn't working for some reason.

So I am devoting today to fixing that.

Funny you should mention Chromebooks on #gnuworldorder, because I just got a new one just a couple of weeks ago for GPU driver development:

I'm still using Chrome OS as I haven't got a usb-c to usb-a adapter, but I already built a new 5.10-rc kernel for it, which took all of 13 minutes on the 8 cores of the MT8183, a lot faster than 40 minutes on my old Chromebook.

Not gonna lie, I looked up sc on SlackBuilds and was sad it wasn't there a few years ago... never knew it was included in Slackware... anyway, thank you @klaatu for covering this wonderful program!

@klaatu so just about finished with your latest episode and I have a question.

Do you see any advantages of csh/tcsh over other shells? I was reading through some docs about it and it looks very nice, but I have never tried using it. It seems much more readable to me (who has a slight obsession with C), but it is not as similar to C as I would have thought.

Just wondered about your specific thoughts on that particular shell.
