En ruralité ça joue autrement sur le transport par contre etc. On n'a pas d'bus nous (ou à + de 7km 😄). Fatigant aussi, mais des fois fatigue plus saine 🥴😇.
Y'a d'la place einh, enfin à condition de pas avoir peur de construire illégalement ou de retaper de l'ancien genre dès le gros œuvre (et de manquer de connexion pour les réseaus virtuels 😉)

Là ça commence à être serré le timing par contre pour cet hiver

An interesting paper comparing the performance of against , and . The results show a similar performance as Go, but slower than C. All of them are, as expected, way faster than Ruby (which is the only interpreted language on the comparison).

Call your code from another module - The Go Programming Language

fans, in the Gopher book (go.dev/doc/tutorial/call-modul), section 5.2, we're supposed to run `go mod tidy` and a require directive is added to go.mod.

When I run `go mod tidy`, I get no output and nothing is changed. How do I debug this? I've searched and failed (the previous `go mod --replace ...` command was successful)

I think I'm going to, once and for all, forgo using for a while. I enjoy it (decently enough) but I just get really stressed thinking about using it. I'll just restructure my current utility and use that instead (using ). It basically feels like a scripting language that you can compile.

Generics in are so nearly useful.

I was hit on Friday by the lack of a `self` type. I'm hit today by: I want to assert: [*T metav1.Object], i.e. T is a concrete type, and *T implements the metav1.Object interface. I've done everything I can think of short of connecting a fuzzer to the compiler, and I can't find a way to express this.

Think of it no different than a Golang channel with a capacity of just 1.

I was curious as to how a "bounded variable" performs compared to a channel.

It performs worse by a factor of 2.

2/3 I had a recent look at and I don't remember half of what makes it work. Is it an extremely compact and efficient VM manager? Yes. Does anyone care about it being such? Not at all. Even the concept of embedding cloud-hypervisor into the single binary failed, because it's more hassle than it's worth.

So what do I write for fun? for binaries, for exploratory coding. Go's easy to get up and running and has fast build times. Python comes with ipynb and polars.

Well I have the start of a text alignment engine implemented for Text elements.

I arrived at the conclusion naturally that the easiest path was to always start by doing a Left justification, then flip the whitespace for Right justification, or normalize whitespace across the rune array for full. I still have to do center which is going to be interesting.
