There's still several Kevin Crawford games I haven't had a chance to play yet; like #WolvesOfGod and #Godbound .

To be honest there's only 2 or 3 designers I really know by name so it's a difficult one.

Playing #Godbound again for the first time in a while today! This campaign has been going on for a while, but it’s hard to get everyone together and our GM has been taking a break for some personal stuff, so it’s been a while since we played. The campaign is also coming to an end soon, (in a good way), and I’m very excited to see how it ends. Our GM is going to be taking this campaign to create a world for a follow-up fantasy campaign in a yet to be determined system

I let engineers play Artifice word Godbounds and now I have to deal with the fact that the yare going to probably decide that a bomb is the best answer to some of my world's problems... #Godbound

Tonight in our game…1 player had technical issues, 2 were pulled into late nights at work and so the 3 remaining worked on moving their characters over to Godbound.

We are deliberating over how we are going to deal with hit points – starting hit points like a first level Godbound character or use their level as hit dice from the D&D game? We’ll talk it over next week when we have more of us at the table.

Reading update - Feb 2023. Ten books (3 novels, 1 graphic novel & 7 roleplaying books), read every day. Can't really call a favourite in this month for the fiction - one new author to me (Joe Abercrombie), another who I read all they publish (Neal Asher) and finally a welcome revisit to The Silmarillion (Tolkien). Two of those books inspired by @eladrin's reading challenge on the Gaming Tavern. #Godbound was the standout #ttrpg but Chris Bissette's #MorkBorg scenarios came a close second.

Really enjoyed reading #Godbound, Kevin Crawford’s #ttrpg where the players take the roles of demigods. There’s a lot to unpack (plenty of text and ideas) but it’s left me intrigued enough to want to run it.

Give a look at any of these #RPG. These are just my physical books. Things like #MythicD6, #EZD6, #IndexCardRPG or #ICRPG, #SavageWorlds or #SWADE. There's more to life than #Pathfinder or #DnD.

My digital collection has tons more. #TheBlackHack, #DCC or #DungeonCrawlClassics, #Godbound, #RuneQuest, #GURPS, #TheWhiteHack, and many more.

@charlie_epsilon I know you said that you are looking for physical books, but you should still go to #DriveThruRPG and pick up the free pdf versions of #Godbound, #StarsWithoutNumbers and #WorldsWithoutNumber by #SineNomine publishing. The free versions are all complete #osr based games, and have robust character creation without being too crunchy. All are state of the art games that also are available in print if it turns out that they are what you are looking for.

if i were to run that now, it'd be heroic mortals in #Exalted 1e or more likely #Godbound.

anyway, everything else since then and in-between has been abortive, at least for me. i've thought about exploring play-by-post and solo games instead of running or playing in real time. regular games are just too stressful, especially when my life/sleep schedule is so incongruous with everyone else in my life. or maybe i just need to game with more people in the southern hemisphere.
